Library
Finding books in the library has always been hard for me, I just never got the system. I look and look but I always screwed up somewhere along the line and was left on the oposite side of the building as where i was supposed to be. I do not know if i am just smarter recently or if I just am finnally getting the system but finding book seems to be alot easier. After looking for a few book for my literature class I found them, even though a few were even in the wrong place. I plan on going to using the SCSU campus library much more in the future.

Hey I had those same problems too, good luck!
ReplyDeleteHi Mitchell (or do you like Mitch better?),
ReplyDeleteSometimes practice makes perfect when it comes to finding books in the library. When you search for books in the OPAC (our online library catalog), pay attention to the call number and subject heading of the book as well as the title. Soon enough you will begin to associate call numbers with subjects. There are also maps available at the Reference Desk which show you where different call number ranges in the library are located.
What is your research topic, BTW? Were you able to find a book on that topic?
I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
R. Wexelbaum
